New Digital Triage – Going Live Wednesday 18th June 2025

New Online Triage

Routine/non-urgent care

We will be operating a new online system allowing patients to request non-urgent care via the practice website during opening hours, using an online tool called Accurx.

If you wish to see the medical team for any non-urgent medical problem then please go to our website and complete the medical request form. You can access this via the Appointments tile on the home page and click the link to ‘Contact us online’.  From here you can choose:

  • I want help for a medical issue

Contact us about a new or ongoing problem

  • I have an admin query

Contact us about a fit (sick) note, test results, repeat prescriptions, or anything else admin related

Once you have submitted your request, the healthcare team will use the information you have provided to ensure that you are given the most appropriate care.  They may send you a text message containing a link to provide more information if needed.

If an appointment is required, they may send you an appointment booking link. Via text message or arrange this over the phone.

If there is a faster or more appropriate route to care, you may be offered this, such as being asked to go to your local pharmacy, or being referred to another service.

Please remember that you can still contact the surgery via telephone or in person should you not have access to the internet and our reception team will be able to process your request digitally on your behalf.

Urgent on-the day care

For urgent on-the day medical appointments please continue to contact the practice by telephone or in person and our reception team will process your request.

Urgent on-the day care appointment requests will be reviewed and assessed by the triage team and a member of the team will either contact you via text message or call you on the same day.

Please ensure that we have your correct contact details on your medical record. You can update your contact details via the website
