Credu Connecting Carers

Do you look after someone with a health condition and/or disability?

Then you matter too!

How Credu supports depends upon what would work for you and how (telephone/internet/in person according to the most current Covid-19 safety guidelines). Here are just some ways:

  • Practical information (e.g. services for the person you look after/respite/financial benefits)
  • Emotional support/counselling
  • Listen to enable you to work through challenges and find ways forward that work for you
  • Young and Adult Carers Groups
  • Courses (e.g. first aid/manual handling/stress less/sleep easy)

Just get in touch and you will get a warm welcome:

Support for Carers

Looking after someone – even somebody you love dearly – can be extremely demanding. It’s important that you take care of yourself because if you become physically or mentally unwell you will be unable to continue in your caring role.

Carers Trust

We work tirelessly to raise awareness of unpaid carers in the UK.

We give carers a voice and highlight their issues to the public. We also campaign and work with politicians and decision makers to create real change for unpaid carers throughout the UK. Campaigning is an important and powerful way of influencing change for unpaid carers.

Carers Trust is a major charity for, with and about carers. We work to improve support, services and recognition for anyone living with the challenges of caring, unpaid, for a family member or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or addiction problems. Our vision is that unpaid carers count and can access the help they need to live their lives.
