The Welsh Government have agreed the recommendations of Public Health Wales to temporarily pause some of the population based screening programmes.
The recommendation is also based on the recent UK Government’s guidance to stop non-essential social contact and travel, guidance for vulnerable groups and practical constrains relating to staff shortages. This will affect the following screening programmes :
• Wales Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening.
• Bowel Screening Wales.
• Breast Test Wales.
• Cervical Screening Wales.

RNIB Eye Clinic Liaison Officers (ECLOs) assist people with sight conditions to access the support they may need, when they need it.
They provide advice on a range of matters, including:
• Living with sight loss and remaining independent.
• Details of latest aids, equipment and technology.
• Benefits and concessions you could be entitled to.
• Education, employment, housing and leisure.
• Eye conditions and treatment information.
• Emotional support.
• The advantages of certification and registration.
